Refund policy
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. ITEMS on clearance, which is defined as 50% off or more, ARE FINAL SALE.
At Bored of Authority, we realize that we operate in a highly competitive industry where returns are a normal course of business. As such, we offer a reasonable return policy. That being said, we ask fans of BOA to consider the immense environmental impact of ecommerce returns. Every returned package leaves a trail of emissions whether carried by road, rail, sea or air. Pollution contributes to a reduction in air quality. According to Optoro, 15 million tons of CO2 are emitted annually during the e-commerce returns process.
We believe that helping our customers make the best buying decision ahead of the sale is the best way to mitigate returns and the environmental impact they cause. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at info@boredofauthority.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
From time to time we may deeply discount items for clearance. We consider any item sold at 50% off or more to be a FINAL SALE. In those instances, at checkout we will clearly state, prior to your confirmation of the purchase, that the deeply discounted items are "for final sale only - no returns accepted". The same language concerning non returnable, discounted items will also appear on your sales receipt at the point of purchase.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
